Chapter COST for this years’ Getaway is $20.00 (if
staying at host hotel) and $35.00 if staying off
site*. This cost includes all classes (not including
cost of surface for projects chosen), exchange surface,
Lunch on Saturday, snacks, drinking water and ALL the
Fun & Games. Dinner on Saturday night will be on your
own but we will ALL go together to nearby restaurant so
that we can be together.

Rooms will be a separate charge paid directly to the
hotel. Single with King bed is $85.00, Double with 2
Queens is $105.00. Up to 4 people can share the Double
rooms, if desired. Buffet breakfast on both mornings
will be supplied by hotel. Saturday luncheon will be
provided by chapter and will be served in hotel dining

show “cactuswrendec” about half way down the screen.
Type in the arrival & departure dates and type of room
wanted (King or 2 bed) and it will figure your rate for
you and show amount on the screen.

If you would like to come early or stay longer, the rate
is good 9/12 – 9/22. When you register, your card will
NOT be charged until the date of check in. You can split
the charge of the room among multiple cards, so that
each roommate is charged the appropriate amount. Do that
at the time of check in, please. Please register early
and let Lois know who you are planning to share a room
with. If you don’t know who you can share a room with,
contact Lois for roommate list. If you have any

PROJECT INFORMATION
Teachers will supply instructions, photo and paints for
their projects. Surfaces are to be ordered directly from
the teachers, unless otherwise noted. It is the
student’s responsibility to collect and prep their
surface before the Get Away. Any questions about a
project should be directed to the teacher of that
project. Their phone number is listed in the 2010
directory.
THEME FOR EXCHANGE
“Halloween
Hugs ….. and all things Fall”
Committee will provide a book for the exchange or you
may provide your own. Please paint the cover and
committee will supply additional items to place in your
“altered art” masterpiece at the getaway.
Exchange will be held on Saturday evening after dinner.
This is always the highlight of the getaway, so plan to
be involved. Fun & Games will be held after the Exchange
under the direction of our President, DeAnn Meely.
