Please pay your paint in fee of $5 to the treasurer, Shirley Heckler, before signing up for either of the classes. Your receipt number will be required. Fees will be collected at the time of sign up. NO fees will be returned if you cancel. It is the student’s responsibility to collect the pattern, etc., from the teacher in a timely manner.

Get Back to Basics in March

No Prep, No Stress, No Problem...the March paint-in is too good to pass up! Lana Hinde and DeAnn Meely are teaming up to help you brush up on the basics. Both are refusing to use the "S" word in describing this one of a kind class...(Strokes). Instead, they will be demonstrating, teaching, and sharing some of their secrets in obtaining that perfect basecoat, pulling that perfect side-load, simplifying liner work, applying detail work and embellishment with skill...however, the word Stroke will not be allowed. Ha...it is doubtful that they can pull this off without even uttering that dreadful, stop you in your tracks word! Bets have been made! The odds are strongly against them. Rumor has it that these two ladies actually enjoy "S" painting styles and even use the "S" approach in all of their painting. SCARY!!!

Limited Supplies required:

#2, #4, #6 filbert (at least two sizes recommended)
A Round brush of choice (#2 or #3 recommended)
A Liner brush of choice
A Small Flat for extra practice - not required

Basic painting supplies: water bucket, palette paper (not just a wet palette), paper towels, GREAT ATTITUDE!

Lana and Dee will be providing paint, practice surfaces, etc. Contact them if you have any questions! See you in March!!!

Only prep is to paint your entire chair black. The sample chair is from IKEA for about $20. You may use your own chair/surface.

Palette: choose your own colors and each student will bring their own paints

Approximately 2 inches square.

Supplies fee: $12.00

Included in supply fee are the palette, surface and prep. Joanna will bring everything ready for you the day of class.
